New Dates: Orinda Library every second and fourth Monday starting March 9th, 2020

Classes started on March 9 instead of February 10. The March 23, April 13 and 27, classes have been postponed indefinitely.

A workshop series to explore basic techniques in Chinese calligraphy and brush painting. This 2-hour program will enable participants to deepen their appreciation of Asian culture and enjoyment in art making.

There will be a total of four meetings. Class meets on second and fourth Mondays in March and April, 2020. Students will learn the basic strokes in Chinese calligraphy using brush and grid paper, write and speak simple phrases, learn their names in Chinese, and create finished artworks using a combination of writing and painting elements.

Dates:     Mondays, twice a month.

Note: Beginners level for Chinese and non-Chinese learners. All art materials will be provided.
