All remaining workshops in March, at Foster City Library, Woodside Library, and Atherton Library have been postponed until further notice.
This March, learn to paint seasonal flowers, fruits, and small animals. Also, learn to write and speak simple Chinese. The workshops teach basic techniques in art of the brush and promote cultural appreciation. The art of Chinese painting and Chinese calligraphy are complementary of one another. Practicing both can help improve focus and creativity with a given sense of enjoyment.
The programs are designed for beginners level and suitable to both Chinese and non-Chinese speakers. Art supplies such as brushes, ink, colors, and paper will be provided. Pre-registration is recommended for each workshop, contact libraries for enrollment.
