An Art-and-Cultural Event for All Ages
Join us for a Mid-Autumn Festival celebration, artist-instructor Pauline Tsui will present Chinese brush painting workshops at San Mateo County Libraries through out the month of September. Find out about the customs and legends of the Autumn Moon, including stories about the Moon Goddess Chang Au and the jade Rabbit. Attendees will learn hands-on how to paint seasonal fruits, flowers, and small animals, each will create an artwork to take home. All art materials will be provided, space is limited, contact branch libraries to sign up. This is part of SMCL Mid-Autumn Festival/Events.
