Art Program at Moraga Library

Chinese Painting Workshop with Pauline Tsui

When:     Thursday, June 28th  1:00 – 2:30 pm

Where:    Moraga Library, 1500 St. Mary’s Road

Learn basic brush techniques to paint seasonal flowers and small animals using Chinese ink and watercolors. This workshop is for beginners and intermediate level learners. Everyone will create a simple artwork to take home. All materials will be provided, no prior painting skills is required. Space is limited to 20, contact the librarian 925-376-6852 for more information, or register online for this workshop.

Pauline Tsui is an artist and a docent of the Asian Art Museum. She studied traditional Chinese brush painting with renowned masters in China; and trained in western art styles in Paris and New York. Her East-meets-West approach to art brings passion and excitement to art lovers and appeals to a broad audience.
