Community Talk: “Fruits and Flowers of the Four Seasons”

Persimmons, pomegranates, chrysanthemum and peonies. Luscious fruits and seasonal flowers are popular subjects in the arts of China, Korea, and Japan. Pauline uses examples of paintings, ceramics, and small sculptures to share  a deeper understanding of their aesthetics and symbolic meaning.
