Join us to celebrate the Mid Autumn Moon Festival! The San Mateo County Libraries and Pauline Tsui present a number of workshops in September: Beginning with a brief talk on the Customs of Mid Autumn, story of the Moon Goddess and the Rabbit in the Jade Palace, to follow with a recitation of a classical poem about the moon. After the talk, hands-on Chinese Calligraphy lessons on how to write simple characters and phrases, paint a rabbit. This is suitable for both Chinese and non-Chinese audiences, all ages are welcome. Materials will be provided, pre-registration required.
